The show was supposed to be inspired by downtown, Joe Fresh’s version of downtown that is. My version of uptown. I dug it. I haven’t wanted to wear houndstooth, or fur caplets, skinny legs or two-inch kitten heels, ever, before. But, Joe made me want all of these things with his f/w collection.

1. Q: how many of these will go into production? A: More than ever! This spring season, as a benchmark, saw over 90% of runway styles produced and available for sale in our stores (select, stand-alone’s). We expect to see comparable numbers in terms of items that were seen on the runway appearing in our stores for fall. Some pieces may be made with different fabrics (the wool, for example, won’t be quite as stiff; the recycled fur you saw on the runway will likely be faux in-stores, etc, etc). But happy to hear you enjoyed the collection!
2. Q: what % will show up in Toronto, or just NY? A: All of the pieces we produce will be available in both our US and Canadian stores. There’s no difference between the stand-alone locations in terms of assortment. They will differ in assortment from our concept stores (the ones located in Loblaws stores aisles or in Superstore’s) – but in terms of our stand-alone product, it’s all the same!
